Richard Morell is the Artistic Director of Wholly Terror Theatre Company. He has been writing and directing plays for over 20 years. His plays have been staged in Denver, Seattle, New Hampshire and New York City. In addition to directing many of his own plays, Richard has also directed plays by Suzanna Cramer, Eddie Gallardo, Arthur Kopit, Sam Shepard and Martin Sherman. He is currently at work on a novel and some short stories set in Colorado. Mr. Morell has an MFA from NYU's Dramatic Writing Program.
Mr. Morell is no stranger to the workforce. He has worked for the Regional Transportation District of Denver, Colorado; Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle; S.W. Cohen & Associates (a book indexing firm contributing indices for books published by Simon & Schuster, Random House, Morrow and other publishers); Loeb & Loeb LLP; as well as his current job at Shearman & Sterling LLP, where he is a part of the Document Processing graveyard shift. He types 85 words a minute, knows MS Word like the back of his hand, and prides himself on being a worker among workers.
